I’m not sure about you but if there’s one thing I know that is a white shirt and denim marry perfectly. I’ve been wearing various interpretations throughout the years in whatever shape or form, and time and time again produces the same effortless result.

I have so much love for my Acne scarf. After I stupidly left my maroon version in a restaurant many moons ago to be never seen again was a moment in my life where I really felt pain. Why was I so emotionally attached to this silly old woolen scarf? Well the reason why is because it simply wasn’t any old silly scarf. It was an outfit enhancing piece of art that not only looked luxe but kept me warm at the same time (& God knows how cold Melbourne is for most of the year). It had the ability to make shapes that no other scarf I owned could deliver. No matter how I draped the damn thing,,,lazily or well thought out, it just sat brilliantly and behaved itself, without looking forced. So, I had to return to Acne to get a replacement.

I’m crushing over my camel turtleneck bodysuit for so many reasons. For starters, it’s the ultimate tran-seasonal piece, perfect for layering or wearing as is. It’s so classic & understated that it just goes with everything in my wardrobe. Today I’m wearing it with my white a-line mini skirt but I can’t wait to rock it out with a dark denim flare or a classic black pant. This neutral shade is so flattering and its body hugging ribbed fit holds your curves in all the right places. No sign of a bunchy love-handle in sight! It’s the ultimate bridging piece as well as being a timeless chic edition to your closet.

Fashion is an expression. No matter how we choose to put ourselves together it’s how we do it that makes us unique. As for me, I don’t like to stick to any rules. I just go with how I’m feeling and work around the mood of pieces and how they balance and relate to each other while complimenting my body type. Whether I’m going for a sporty, street or classic look, the real magic is ‘how’ it is all put together.
Accessorizing is so important to what makes our expression ‘individual’. Layering jewellery in your own particular way can elevate your outfit, giving it your own unique stamp. I’m so in love with my Pandora pieces and had so much fun putting together today’s look. I wanted to bring Paris to Melbourne with my trumpet skirt and poker dot blouse (found in a vintage store in San Francisco). But, I just loved those individual touches with the stacked rings, feather earrings, statement rose ring & key necklace.
I hope you enjoy my look celebrating the launch of the ‘Unique As We Are’ campaign for Pandora.

The French say to never wear sportswear in public & to a certain extent I agree. Its definitely not chic to head out in your gym uniform especially when that could entail baggy sweat pants, bright tanks & flouro sneakers! But if your gym uniform was minimalist, monochromatic & beautifully tailored, I’m a hundred percent sure that it would be perfectly acceptable to wear in public. Huntr the label has nailed this sportsluxe brief blurring the boundaries of work out gear and regular clothes very well. I have a newfound appreciation for those brands that can do this as they are few and far between, but this is the one that really kills it in this category. You can find everything from tights, tank tops & puffer vests.
