(Forever 21 pants, Rag & Bone blouse, Steve Madden heels, Kate Spade bag)

Well I’m back home in Melbourne with the expected post-holiday blues! Its hard to get back into the ‘blogging thing’ when your jet-lagged & frozen. Thankfully, there’s nothing like a new outfit to cure post-holiday woes so for my first post back home I decided to wear some of my favourite purchases from my holiday.

Okay, here’s the truth…these drawstring joggers were an impulse purchase. There was something about the slouch factor and the drawstring waist against the light weight denim that made me instinctively think these were going to work. I DIDN’T EVEN TRY THEM ON! That is outrageous because I tried on at least 15 other items. Truth is, my Husband was waiting for me outside the store and I somehow caught eye of these pants somewhere between the fitting room and heading towards the cash register of Forever 21 to buy other items. Plus, I also thought to myself…this is risky but hey they are only 22 dollars so not much cash spent if they would be a mistake right? Turns out my instincts were correct & I absolutely love them. Not only are they the most comfortable pants I own but they are super edgy and can be worn a multitude of ways.

Today I decided to make it more sharp and feminine teaming it with a structured cropped blouse and lace-up heels. I love that play of cropped top against cropped pants too especially when the loose factor is involved. The sneaky peek of the midriff and heels gives it that light feminine touch. I’ll save my sneaks and bodysuit to team with it next week.
