I have always been against maternity wear, only cause I was almost always disappointed with everything that I found. Most maternity wear is unflattering and perhaps a little too frumpy or relaxed looking so throughout my first and second trimester I survived on stretchy dresses of the non-maternity kind. That is until now…I recently discovered a store on Malvern road in Melbourne called Soon Maternity which changed my mind on maternity for good. There were so many options for styling the bump that I decided to showcase the three different amazing dresses I couldn’t resist in one post.

  1. The Elizabeth Maxi Dress

Totally crushed over this floral maxi and had to have it as soon as I saw it. I already have it reserved to wear on Christmas day, that is, if I don’t have the bub prematurely (I’m due Jan 2nd). It fits so comfortably and hugs in all the right areas. It’s also so refreshing to wear a print after months of being in various one shaded stretchy dresses. I felt so positively elegant and love how its easily adjusted to fit your growing bump.

2. Paris Drop Waist Sleeveless Dress

I think I’ve always been a little obsessed with navy. When I spotted this dress I instantly thought of wearing it for date night with Hubby. That flirty frill against its shift shape is just so adorably chic. All it needed was some blingy earrings and some pumps to dress it up. I can’t wait to layer it over a turtleneck or edge it out with a leather jacket and boots for a more street style look. The options are endless.

3. Lara Maxi Dress

Maxi dresses are always the answer to any Pregbots dreams and this rib dress is no exception. Lazy weekends always call for an easy relaxed look . I gravitated towards this dress mainly because I fell in love with its mint shade, though the gray version in store is also fantastic. I love its versatility… you can wear it as is or be inventive and tie a knot for a completely different look. Both super flattering styles on the bump.

I hope you like my options from Soon Maternity as much as I do. I’m in my last trimester now and feel so sorted for all my styling needs. What I love most of all about this brand is the thoughtfulness behind each item, designed to make a pregnant woman look as best as she can without that dreaded maternity look. I also picked up a gorgeous blouse and some amazing skinny jeans but will have to show that in another post. There is absolutely an outfit for every occasion covered and it will be your one stop shop for sure. To check out their amazing items click here.
