Spring has sprung to Melbourne finally & it’s so nice to get out of the house and not wear jeans and a sweater for once! I was a little unsure at first of what to wear in these new weather conditions due to my 6 month bump. Winter is my least favourite time of year but when you are pregnant it’s so much easier to flatter that extended belly with a dress and a long coat. In the warmer months, there is less to hide. So this is why I discovered that a structured shift dress is your new best friend! Not only does it flatter the bump, it looks chic and elegant. Of course, you will look pregnant as it’s not designed to hide the bump. But what it does do is highlight it in a special way. Remember, it’s just your belly that has changed, not so much your arms and legs. I love this dress by Melbourne designer and friend Maria decker. She is uber talented and creates unique handmade pieces that are so wearable, modern and edgy. She just launched her online store Greedy Lui  where I was lucky enough to snag this killer dress. Not only is it in my favourite colour of the season but the print is so fresh and the fabric used gives it a modern sparkly vibe. There is a crop top too of the same fabric that I am lusting after, but that will have to wait till after the bub is born. Crop tops a definite no no now 🙁
