I’m a firm believer in having staples in your wardrobe that can be worn over and over in a trillion different ways. So my GO-TO pieces for summer belong to the white shirt, denim shorts and the neutral sandal.
My white shirt was purposely bought over-sized as I was aiming for the slouchy/half-tucked or full- tucked in factor (whichever look that suits my mood). Looks chic against high-waisted skirts, pants or in today’s look denim shorts. I’m a big fan of rolling the sleeves, especially in summer as it gives a new relaxed silhouette while still remaining polished.
I’ve spent the last few summers in havaianas and thought it was about time I bought myself a more structured dressier sandal. I love the clean neutral lines and the sneak kitten height factor of this one (yes, every inch helps!). Will go with just about anything.
As for denim shorts the older they are the better they look. I’ve had these Current/Elliott’s for awhile now and they have aged gracefully,
